

Shaun joined Close Thornton in 1991 as a qualified Solicitor. He studied Law at the University of Lancaster attaining a 2.1 Honours degree before taking the Law Society’s Solicitors Finals exams at the Law College in Chester. Shaun was admitted to the role of solicitors in 1989 and became a Partner in 1995.

Outside Interests
Shaun combines his interests in wildlife and photography by travelling the world
to remote regions and photographing often endangered species in their natural
environment. When you visit Close Thornton’s Offices, you will see some
of Shaun’s wildlife photographs adorning the corridors. Back in the UK
Shaun enjoys very long country walks with his dogs. Shaun is a qualified PADI
scuba diver and has also been known to worry a few clay pigeons.
