Conveyancing is the legal word for managing and processing the legal aspects of buying and selling a home. Our experienced team will guide you through each stage of the conveyancing process making sure you have a better understanding of what may seem a complicated procedure. We will take the stress out of your move.
Buying
Buying a home is likely to be the biggest financial transaction you will ever
make. It is essential having a solicitor on board early in the process so that
you can act quickly once you have found the property you wish to purchase. Our
conveyancing team will liase with the Seller’s Solicitor and guide you
through the transaction.
There are many detailed tasks to be carried out, particularly in checking the Seller’s Title to the property and raising any enquiries to clarify the position. We will also obtain all the necessary lists of fixtures, fittings and contents that may be included in the transaction. We will ensure that each stage of buying your home is simple and as stress free as possible and will keep you fully advised of progress made.
Selling
Close Thornton is a member of Solicitors Property Shop (SPS). In conjunction
with SPS we can provide you with a one-stop service for selling your home. There
is no need to consult an Estate Agent or third party. Our Residential Property
Sales Team will handle the sale and marketing of your property whilst our Conveyancing
Team will guide you through the transaction and put together the legal documents
required.
In addition, through our detailed local knowledge, we are able to recommend to you the services of other professional services such as surveyors and independent financial advisors.
