Iain joined Close Thornton in 2000 as a qualified Solicitor. Ian studied History at Aberdeen University before transferring to Law in 1992. He completed his training contract in Middlesbrough and Sunderland before settling in Darlington.

Outside Interests

Iain has a young family and not much time to himself. He does however manage to escape once a week to play football. He is also a keen follower of the fortunes or misfortunes of Newcastle United Football Club.
