| Double celebration for Darlington solicitor |
|
Release date: November 2005
Kelly Henderson, an assistant solicitor at Close Thornton Solicitors in Darlington, recently enjoyed a double celebration - her qualification as a solicitor and her marriage to colleague, Adrian Noble.
After 6 years of studying with the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) Ms Henderson has gone on to successfully pass her Professional Skills Course. Her application to be officially admitted onto the role of solicitors was accepted this week.
Having studied at King James 1st School in Bishop Auckland, Ms Henderson joined Close Thornton in 1996. She became a member of ILEX in 2001 and qualified as a Legal Executive in 2003. Working alongside Partner Shaun Burke in the Civil Litigation Department, Ms Henderson has been able to gain valuable work experience whilst having the opportunity to study for her exams.
“I am extremely grateful for the support I have received from my colleagues at Close Thornton and my family,” said Ms Henderson, who recently returned home from honeymoon. “Everyone has helped me through a very hard and stressful few years. It has been worth it though and I am looking forward to my future as a fully qualified solicitor.”
All the partners at Close Thornton are delighted to have Ms Henderson as part of their team and are proud of her recent achievements.
