|
Release date: April 2008
Close Thornton, the Darlington firm of solicitors, has appointed a new partner, Malcolm Woolfe.
Malcolm joined the firm in 2002 and has a first class degree from the University of Northumbria. He specialises in commercial property law and, at thirty years old, is the youngest solicitor to join the partnership.
Chris Wiper, Senior Partner, said: ' We are delighted that Malcolm has agreed to join our partnership team. He is the 13th partner to join the firm since its foundation by Walter Close and Frank Thornton in 1946.'
The firm takes pride in delivering high levels of customer care and service. Malcolm said ' As a new partner, I join a team of lawyers and staff who work hard to deliver high levels of service to our clients. Our annual client care survey, produced as part of the Lexcel scheme, showed a 7% increase in clients rating the firm as delivering an excellent service. Overall, 94% of clients rated the service they received as good or excellent. I hope to help the team to build on that strong performance next year'.
