Darlington law firm, Close Thornton, has been dabbling in a spot of foreign relations. Petra Bohunova, a second year law student from Brno in the Czech Republic, has been getting to grips with the English Legal System and English Law in preparation for her exams in September.

In addition to spending time in the firm’s extensive library researching various areas of the law, Petra, aged 21, has assisted several of Close Thornton’s solicitors with their day to day case load.

Delighted with her introduction to English Law, Petra said,

"English Law is very different to Czech Law, but hopefully with the help of all the partners and staff at Close Thornton I will find my English Law studies much easier."
