STAFF APPOINTMENT: 35 Years Loyal Service earns Local Solicitor Partnership

Leading law firm Close Thornton Solicitors in Darlington has recently appointed David Hogg as a Partner.

David, who left Queen Elizabeth Grammar School aged 17, joined Close Thornton in 1967. Within 4 years of starting work in the Accounts Department he began training as a Legal Executive in the Conveyancing Department.

In 1975 David qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and in 1995 qualified as a solicitor. During this time he has progressed into Company Law and Commercial Property and now heads the department with Senior Partner Chris Wiper. In 1993 he became a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
