This year's Vantis Corporate Challenge

Sick Notes to Fit Notes

On the 6th April 2010, the sick note was replaced by the fit note. Employees will need to provide a fit note to employers as evidence that they cannot work because of their health.

If a GP indicates in the fit note that an employee 'may be fit for work', this means that the employee may be able to return to work with some help from the employer.
